Only over-21s will be permitted to see teen rom com Love, Simon in Singapore. The country’s film censorship body, Media Development Authority of Singapore, gave the highest-possible age restriction to the gay film, which is getting love from audiences across the world.

Billionaire businessman Philip Anschutz, the entertainment conglomerate chairman known for bankrolling controversial right-wing causes, donated $1 million to Elton John AIDS Foundation’s LGBT Fund earlier this week, according to a press release. The fund “tackles the stigma, discrimination and violence that prevents LGBT people in Sub-Saharan Africa from accessing the health and HIV services they need.”
Last Week Tonight is getting the last laugh in its (perhaps one-sided) feud with Mike Pence. On Sunday, John Oliver announced that staff writer _Jill Twiss and illustrator E.G. Keller had penned a picture book that purposefully apes the Pence family’s own children’s book about their bunny, Marlon Bundo.
Since Saturday Night Live premiered in 1975 there have been more than 150 cast members, only two of whom were openly gay. Current cast member, and arguably the show’s MVP, Kate McKinnon was an out lesbian well before she auditioned for the long-running sketch show — but there has not been an openly gay man in the cast in 32 years.
