We just stumbled upon this Joan Rivers interview from The Dick Cavett Show. In the interview, which originally aired on Sept. 16, 1969, Rivers reveals that she used to vacation in one of America’s most well-known gay enclaves, Fire Island. Cavett asks Rivers where she was all summer, as she wasn’t in New York City. “Mainly Fire Island, and I certainly wouldn’t run into you there,” she quips. Coachella is funding anti-gay politicians. Is it time for a boycott?

Earlier this week, Coachella, the annual California music and arts festival, announced its 2018 lineup. The lineup includes Beyoncé, St. Vincent, Perfume Genius, Cardi B and Eminem alongside many other musicians. But just like last year, it has once again come to light that the festival’s owner Philip Anschutz has given nearly $200,000 to Republican politicians and Super PACs throughout 2017, including some who are anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ rights. TV network asks if watching too much porn “turns people gay”.

Satellite TV station, TV9 Telegu (India) recently featured a segment that explored the reasons behind homosexuality.
