Baylor football to hypothetical gay player – ‘You’re one of us’
Two years have passed since Baylor University changed its sexual conduct policy to drop specific references to homosexual acts in its code of student conduct. The change, a spokeswoman said at the time, came because “we didn’t believe the language reflected Baylor’s caring community.”
Jerusalem Pride – LGBTQ and Religion
Thousands of people were expected to march through central Jerusalem Thursday afternoon in the city’s 16th annual LGBTQ pride parade. This year’s March for Pride and Tolerance will be held under the banner of “LGBTQ and Religion,” and is expected to draw some 4,000 participants to the capital city.

Discrimination against LGBT people is often once-removed, shielded under double-speak and fraudulent intentions. So, it’s refreshing, really, when a company comes right out and says in black and white that gay men aren’t worthy of the same protections as everyone else.
Who is helping the gay Chechen underground railroad?
EU countries roundly condemned a witch hunt against gay people in the Russian republic of Chechnya earlier this year, but only a few governments are willing to help those fleeing persecution. According to the Russian LGBT network, an NGO that has been hiding over 60 gay Chechens at secret locations in central Russia, it briefed almost 20 EU countries on the situation in April.

Tom Bulleit’s daughter says she stayed quiet for a decade. But eight months after leaving the distillery her father founded, Hollis Bulleit is taking to Facebook to accuse Bulleit Frontier Whiskey’s corporate owner, Diageo, of firing her because she refused to remain silent in the work world about her identity as a lesbian.
