A few weeks ago, Georgian football player Guram Kashia wore a rainbow armband while captioning a Dutch team while playing in the Netherlands. A bit confusing for Americans, but the guy was showing his support for LGBT rights during a broader initiative in the Netherlands for the country’s “Coming Out Day.” Some of his countrymen back in Georgia were offended by his actions and are asking for his removal from the Georgia National Team.
