A rainbow waterfall of fireworks will cascade off the Sydney Harbour Bridge on New Year’s Eve as Australia heralds a new era of gay marriage, officials said on Tuesday (Dec 5).
A same-sex marriage bill is being debated in Australia’s House of Representatives and is expected to comfortably pass before Christmas after the upper house Senate last week overwhelmingly voted in its favour.
