Indonesia has classified homosexuality as a “mental disorder”, as a bill to criminalise gay sex is introduced in the country’s parliament. The country’s Health Ministry on Friday said it was set to publish a medical guide based on two reports from the past two years.

How one medical school is addressing LGBT healthcare disparities.
Adam Neff said a desire to stay in his hometown led him to pick the University of Louisville School of Medicine. But another reason drew Neff—the school’s program addressing LGBT healthcare disparities. “I am actually part of the LGBT community,” Neff said. “So knowing that this kind of work was going on around training the next generation of physicians certainly made me very confident of my choice.”

LGBT Inclusion Party at the Super Bowl draws NFL legends, hundreds of fans.
Esera Tuaolo’s inaugural Inclusion Party at the Super Bowl was a big hit in Minneapolis on Wednesday night, attracting hundreds of revelers expressing support for LGBT inclusion in football. Tuaolo, a former NFL player who came out publicly as gay after he retired, wanted to create a tentpole event around the Super Bowl to continue the push for equality and inclusion in his beloved sport of football.

LGBTQ adoption controversy, governments support adoption and foster care.
This question remains an issue that is controversial and must be addressed in a positive manner. Recently, an Alberta couple was denied the opportunity to adopt a child because their religious beliefs were against homosexuality and gay parenting. The Alberta government, as well as the Roman Catholic Church, were in agreement that the prospective parents would not provide a home of inclusion and indeed preach that LGBTQ folks should not be allowed to be parents.
