Is gay senior citizen comedy ‘Silver Foxes’ from ‘Golden Girls’ team heading to the small screen?

Super Deluxe is teaming with writers and producers Stan Zimmerman and James Berg to develop the comedy series “Silver Foxes,” Variety has learned exclusively. The half-hour, single-camera series is about two older gay men and one twink (their buddy’s young lover) that rescue a friend who’s been forced-back-in-the-closet at his homophobic assisted living facility.

#BoycottCarnival – Gay wedding ban sparks cruise boycott call.

Carnival Corporation, the cruise firm that owns P&O and Cunard, is facing a boycott from LGBT travellers after halting gay weddings on some ships. The company was forced to stop allowing same-sex unions on its ships that are registered in Bermuda. The British Overseas Territory legalised gay weddings in May last year, but the law was repealed last month following a change of government.

Another math teacher is outed as a gay porn star.

Last fall, the Internet blew up when it was revealed that porn star Carlo Masi was living in Rome and working as a math professor. Today, a new story surfaced outing Colt porn star Aaron Cage as working as a math professor in the UK. I now regret not paying more attention in math class. Gay marriages are the least likely to end, a new study has shown. Two men who get hitched in the US have better odds of making it than their counterparts in lesbian and straight marriages, according to research by the Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law.

For many years, funding for LGBTQ causes was almost entirely provided by national foundations and major donors. More recently, as this area became less controversial, an increasing number of community foundations and other local funders have embraced grantmaking for LGBTQ populations. But this funding has mostly been focused in large urban areas in coastal states and, like national grantmaking, has tended to bypass rural states, especially in the South.
