Transgender woman in migrant caravan dies in ICE custody.
A transgender woman who traveled to the United States in a migrant caravan through Mexico has died while in the custody of immigration officials. Roxana Hernandez, 33, of Honduras died Friday at a hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She died from what appeared to be cardiac arrest, according to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

Barbados elects pro-LGBT female prime minister.
Barbados last week elected its first female prime minister, who is also pro-LGBT, in a landslide victory. Mia Mottley will lead the Caribbean island country, and her party, the Barbados Labour Party, took all of the seats in parliament. It’s the first time the party has been in power in a decade.
