Is the State Department revoking passports of transgender women?

In what may turn out to be yet another front of the Trump administration’s war on transgender rights, some transgender U.S. passport holders are claiming that the State Department has denied renewal requests even after the applicants already listed their gender as female on previously approved passports.

Study shows gay men over the age of 45 are more likely to be single.

Surveying 1,782 LGBTQ people across the United States, AARP found that gay men over the age of 45 are more likely to be single. While 57% of gay men over 45 were single, lesbians were only 39% more likely to be without a partner, while bisexual men and women weighed in at 48%.

He died in an infamous arson at a gay bar. Now, his family is trying to find his remains.

Until the Pulse nightclub shooting in 2016, the deadliest known attack at a gay club in U.S. history was a 1973 arson attack at a New Orleans gay bar called the UpStairs Lounge. Thirty-two people died in the fire, but many families didn’t come forward to claim the bodies of the dead and churches refused to hold funerals for some of the victims.
