Silencing the LGBT community in Indonesia.

Indonesia is set to pass a law that will ban all LGBT characters from television shows. The House of Representatives has agreed to pass the broadcasting bill, which includes a ban on any lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender “behaviour”. It would also prevent reporting on any gay rights issues.

Megyn Kelly’s gay joke continues to fall flat.

Debra Messing says she regrets going on “Megyn Kelly Today” after a controversial remark from the new morning show host. On Monday, the cast of “Will & Grace” joined Kelly on the debut of her new NBC show to promote their rebooted sitcom. At one point, the former Fox host brought superfan Russel Turner on stage to meet Messing, Will McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally.

Megyn Kelly’s gay joke falls flat on social media.

Megyn Kelly’s debut episode of “Megyn Kelly Today” is getting slammed online — for more than one reason. The former FOX News correspondent welcomed the cast of “Will & Grace” onto her new morning show on Monday morning ahead of the hit NBC sitcom’s revival, and a comment that she made while talking to a superfan of the show is garnering Kelly criticism on Twitter.

Lena Waithe and Aziz Ansari took home the Emmy for outstanding writing for a comedy series for their work on Master of None — but Waithe’s powerful acceptance speech deserves an award of its own. After thanking Ansari, her mom, her girlfriend and more, the actress and screenwriter took the time to give a major shout out to the LGBT community.

The LGBT community was out and proud at the Emmy Awards.

The Emmy Awards have wrapped. “Big Little Lies” was a big winner along with Donald Glover, “Saturday Night Live” and “The Handmaid’s Tale.” Lena Waithe made history as the first black woman to win for writing in a comedy series, “Handmaid’s” was the first streaming show to win drama, and Donald Glover was the first black man to win directing in comedy.
