As travelers set out on their next big adventure this summer, one group in particular uses sharing services to get around more than others. LGBTQ travelers are now some of the most visible, in part because they tend to be more adventurous, consumer groups in the travel industry.
While sex between men was partially decriminalised 50 years ago in the UK, in Finland it took until 1971. And it wasn’t until very recently that the Finns were relaxed enough about homosexuality to openly acknowledge one of their country’s most famous exports.
This month we’re asking for nominations for books that can bring us a bit of Pride. As you’re probably aware, 27 July marked 50 years since the 1967 Sexual Offences Act entered the statute books.
