But eight months after leaving the distillery her father founded, Hollis Bulleit is taking to Facebook to accuse Bulleit Frontier Whiskey’s corporate owner, Diageo, of firing her because she refused to remain silent in the work world about her identity as a lesbian.

HRC and researchers at the University of Connecticut launched a major national survey of LGBTQ teens. The survey is open to teens who identify as LGBTQ, are between 13 and 17, and are living in the U.S. Eligible teens can take the survey here.

But panelists discussing political and cultural issues and their effects on gay businesses say what took 15 years to accomplish could disappear in 15 months unless the business community takes a stand on gender diversity issues, including discrimination and matters like transgender bathroom laws.
