The 14th consecutive gay pride parade for the Greek capital was announced by organisers at the French embassy on Monday, during a press conference which was attended by  Attica region director Rena Dourou, Athens municipal council members and ambassadors.  Athens Pride 2018 parade is scheduled for June 9, with Pride Week running from June 1 to 8, with events scheduled at Syntagma Square.
