Carnival Cruise Line is funding efforts to bring back gay marriage to Bermuda.

In February, Bermuda made world headlines when it became the first nation in the world to repeal same-sex marriage. Just nine months after the British territory first legalized same-sex marriage, Governor John Rankin signed the Domestic Partnership Act (DPA) which revoked marriage rights for same-sex couples. The Rainbow Alliance of Bermuda decried the law, saying that it created “separate-but-equal status under the law.”

Being gay means being you are a criminal. There 400 million of these criminals, some may face death. These criminals are in countries, where LGBT is a crime. The crime is loving a same-sex partner. Tourists travel to those countries and some of these tourists love same sex partner and may become criminals.

The queer community in the U.S. spends 10% of its purchasing power, nearly $100 billion, on travel. Grindr – yes Grinder – recently surveyed its Millennial-users about their travel habits, and what they found is surprising. The editor-in-chief for Grindr and Grindr’s INTO digital magazine, Zachary Stafford, joined us on Queer Money™ to talk about the findings. Grindr conducted the LGBTQ travel-focused study to better understand how its users use the Grindr app and how it can improve the user experience.

Two men face 100 lashes after being arrested for having gay sex in Indonesia.

Two Indonesian men have been arrested for having gay sex. The university students had their rooms raided by residents in Aceh, the only region of the Muslim-majority country where Shariah law is in effect and gay sex is illegal. Condoms and mobile phones belonging to the 21 and 24-year-old were handed over to police.
