Four years ago, Russia started with anti-gay propaganda laws to protect their “traditional values”. (Sound familiar?) Their neighbors Chechnya, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan have followed Russia’s lead by passing their own version of anti-LGBT legislation.
The parallels to what is happening in the US are frightening.
